This night marked the four year anniversary for three friends who took a chance. Toan Hoang, Tina Stamou and I founded Mambo Tuesdays at the Boston Music Room in June 2010. Our vision was simple: we wanted to create our dream club for salsa lovers, complete with a relaxed and friendly vibe, quality teaching and the tastiest salsa and cha cha music sandwich imaginable! It’s been an amazing ride, and the wonderful London salsa family is what made it possible, so thank you all!

This four-year event was also the first time we have played vinyl at the Boston. Our regular international guest, Alfonso “DJ Faniatico” from Geneva, and I brought out a handful of our records to play alongside the usual CD and digital setup. It was a thrill for us, and brought something a little different to the atmosphere, so we’ll be mixing in some vinyl more often in our Boston sets. See you on the dance floor!
